If my home went up in flames, I honestly believe this love letter would be one of the first things I’d grab. Stupidly I didn’t save many reminders from former boyfriends. Raging sadness prevented me from seeing that years down the road I’d really want this stuff. But luckily I saved this note. It’s the best love letter I’ve ever received. Too bad I was listening to some horrible friends that convinced me that I needed to break up with him so I wouldn’t ruin the “seniors only” winter formal dance. Chris was a great boyfriend, and I really screwed up. But at least the one thing I didn’t screw up was saving this heartbreakingly sweet love letter.
